The scale is not the enemy, in fact, it can be a great gauge of health and the normal fluctuations of your body. But, have you ever wondered if you might be a little too obsessive about that number on the scale? Four signs that you are..

I really liked this article from Woman's Day about the four biggest signs of a weight fixation, and here they are:

1. You constantly worry about weighing in.

2. You weigh in more than once per day.

3. You can recite your weight to the nearest fraction at all times.

4. The scale determines how you feel about yourself for the day.

The advice from experts is that if one, or all, of these scenarios describes you, it's time to step away from the scale for a while and focus on other measures of health, like how much energy you have, how your clothes fit and how happy you are.
